Rules & Regulations

The Nebraska FFA Alumni & Supporters invites any active Nebraska Alumni Chapter to participate. Only 1 pitch is allowed per Alumni chapter.

Event will be judged by three Nebraska entrepreneurs. Participants will make a pitch no longer than 5 minutes about an event they would like to to hold in 2026 and want funding for. Projector, screen, and microphone will be provided.

First through third place will be awarded $1500, $1000, and $500 respectively. All events competing will receive advertising on Nebraska FFA Alumni & Supporters platforms and a FREE advertisement in our annual magazine, the Blue & Gold Spotlight. Therefore, we will also need a magazine advertisement turned into us by October 1, 2025.
Contest will be held January 16, 2026, at the Friday Night Social of the Nebraska FFA Alumni & Supporters convention. ZOOM presentations will be allowed, but in-person presentations are favored and encouraged.
The winners will present about their event at the next convention. Failure to do so renders a chapter ineligible to participate in future Golden Idea Competitions.
